Colleen Phelps is a percussionist based in Nashville, TN. She most often performs new and experimental music and particularly enjoys working with composers. Her collection of marimba pieces The Animal Ambassador Album, inspired by baby zoo animals, is set to be released soon. She is also a founding member of professional chorus Vocal Arts Nashville.
Colleen attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she studied percussion with Allen Otte and Rusty Burge, and conducting with Earl Rivers.
